Swallowing Embers is a Pokemon roleplaying site with the addition of 'quirks' (inspired by BNHA/My Hero Academia). The site has a 100-word count minimum and accepts roleplayers of any level. There is a skeleton-plot for the site but we consider ourselves majorly character-driven. Arafel will be what we make of it — what you choose to cook up between your characters and other's. In Arafel, you're completely capable of living a peaceful life, getting caught up in chaos, or creating the chaos yourself. Battle your way through the gyms, the Elite Four, and claim the title of Champion! Be a scientist in the Guild, cooking up new ways to terrorize the region, or a Guild grunt who just revels in creating trouble. Stand up to and fight the Guild as a police officer! Or you could just take it easy! Be a civilian, a researcher, or a breeder on the ranches. The entire region is yours to do with what you will.

If you wish to become affiliates with Swallowing Embers, please post your button in-code here. Make sure our button is up on your site before posting, or at least up shortly after. Buttons must be 88x31. We will be doing monthly "activity checks" on our current affiliates and will remove your button if your site appears to have been abandoned. Before doing so, we will post a message on your board letting you know of the removal.

If you wish to become our sister site, we have two slots open! It's preferred that you make a 100x200 or 200x100 button to use, but if you don't have the means, I can make one with your guidance. Likewise, if we need to make a button of whatever dimensions, just let us know. We don't require that we have a button of that size on your site, but our site must have some sort of Sister Affiliation/Featured spot.
