If someone posts a breeding request and you feel like rolling their batch, the first thing you want to do is check the Pokemon they posted. Make sure that one is female and one is male (or in the case that they're genderless, they can only be bred with a ditto). Make sure they are part of the same egg group. Also make sure both Pokemon are posted in the character's respective PC and they are hatched Pokemon and not an egg someone just bought. In case one of the Pokemon doesn't pass this check, post the 'Breeding Request Denied!' and let the poster know what needs to be fixed before the breeding request can be filled. Make sure to check the Total Cost is correct and make sure to take the money from the character's account before posting their batch of eggs.
Now on to actually rolling the breeding batches. If someone posted specifics for their egg (example: they paid extra for the gender to be female, or paid extra to get a specific ability or egg move), then that specific would be true for one single egg. They've paid to guarantee one egg will end up exactly as they wish it too. So no need to roll for that one. But for all other eggs in the batch, you'd need to roll the specifics. Rolling batches for breeders is different than all other character classes, so I'm going to separate this guide into 'Breeders' and 'Everyone Else'. You're going to want to pull up this number generator.

Rolling batches for breeders is different than all other character classes, so I'm going to separate this guide into 'Breeders' and 'Everyone Else'. You're going to want to pull up this number generator.
FOR ALL CLASSES EXCEPT BREEDER:
1. How may eggs? - Each batch can get 2-5 eggs. Put 2-5 in the generator and roll. The result is the number of eggs.
2. What Pokemon is each egg? - There's a 50/50 chance that the egg will be the mom Pokemon or the dad Pokemon. (If a ditto is involved, all eggs will be the "other" parent.) Put 1-2 in the number generator and roll. If 1, the egg is the mother Pokemon. If 2, the egg is the father Pokemon. Roll for each individual egg.
3. What Gender is the egg? - Find the Pokemon's gender ratio. I use Pokemon DB -- pokemondb.net/pokedex/bulbasaur (just replace "bulbasaur" with the Pokemon you're looking up). Find their gender percentage under the breeding subsection. Most will be 50/50, but a lot of Pokemon do have a rarer gender ratio, so make sure to check. Once you know the ratio, roll 1-100; the resulting number will decide the gender. (Using bulbasaur as an example, if the dice rolled 1-88 the bulbasaur would be male, if it rolled 89-100 it would be female.) Roll for each individual egg.
4. What ability? - Find the Pokemon's available abilities. Again, Pokemon Database is a great site for that. Use the guide below and roll for each egg.
- If a Pokemon has 2 abilities, roll 1-2. 1 would be first ability, 2 would be second.
- - If a Pokemon has 1 ability and 1 hidden ability, roll 1-9. 1-8 is the regular ability, 9 is the hidden.
- - If a Pokemon has 2 abilities and 1 hidden ability, roll 1-9. 1-4 is the first ability, 5-8 is the second, 9 is the hidden.
5. What egg move? - Go to the list of Egg Moves and assign each one a number (it is okay if the egg move has a BP over 80). Put the range in the number generator and roll. The corresponding move is the new Pokemon's egg move. Roll for each egg. If the shop ditto is being used, there is NO egg move. If a character is using a character-owned ditto, there is still an egg move.
6. Is it a shiny? - Include a dice roll for each individual egg. If it lands on 100, the Pokemon is a shiny!
FOR BREEDERS:
Steps 1-2 and 5-6 are the same as the above. The only thing different is rolling for gender and ability. Breeders have a higher chance of getting a hidden ability or a rare gender.
3. What gender is the egg? - Roll a 50/50 chance for all eggs done for breeders, regardless of the gender ratio. Unless of course the Pokemon is 100% male (like Tauros). Put 1-2 into the generator and roll. 1 = male, 2 = female.
4. What ability? - Roll for each egg, using the rule below.
- If a Pokemon has 2 abilities, roll 1-2. 1 would be first ability, 2 would be second.
- If a Pokemon has 1 ability and 1 hidden ability, roll 1-3. 1-2 is the ability, 3 is the hidden.
- If a Pokemon has 2 abilities and 1 hidden ability, roll 1-3. 1 is the first ability, 2 is the second, 3 is hidden.
