We would definitely love to see some people take up the mantle of Gym Leader, Gym Leader Substitute, or Elite Four. If you are interested, please fill out the application below and PM it to Rinse!
As of right now, every gym has a default gym team, which I've linked in the list below. However, upon acceptance, Gym leaders have the option to customize their Gym team. They can choose their team's Pokemon, their abilities, their held items, etc. They could even add reasonable rules to their Gym challenges if they would like (example: double battles only). One thing the Gym Leaders can not customize is the number of Pokemon in their gym, their level range, or their set healing items. Unless a Gym Leader would like to use their own personal healing items in their own personal inventory, they will only have the healing item in the default Gym team. Substitutes don't get to customize the teams (unless there is no current Gym Leader, in which case they can customize the team until the Gym Leader position is assumed).
Gym leaders and substitutes receive money from their challenges/battles (per post), regardless of if they win or lose.
Before applying for the position, make sure you are willing to accept the responsibility that comes with the role! As Gym Leader, you are expected to respond to any challenges to your Gym within a week of the challenge being posted. And once you've accepted the challenge, you're responsible for keeping up with the replies! We do not want the challenger to have to wait weeks between replies in order to finish their thread with you. If the Gym Leader doesn't respond to the challenge within the allowed week, the duty then falls upon the Gym Leader substitute. If neither leader nor substitute respond, the Gym challenge will then be picked up by a mod. If there are repeated instances of the leader/substitute failing to take up their challenges (excepting any RL leave of absences), their positions will be forfeit.
If you would like to apply, copy and paste the below code and PM it to Rinse!

GYM 4: THE STEEL GYM
GYM 5: THE DRAGON GYM
GYM 6: THE FIRE GYM
GYM 7: THE FLYING GYM

THE ELITE FOUR - Each team has 2 Full Restores and six Pokemon, leveled 80-85. The elite four can be faced in whatever order you wish, but they must all be faced back-to-back with no break in between to allow for healing. You must beat all four teams using whatever items your bring with you to keep your team alive.
